We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II that is an energetic and driven individual with basic skill sets and knowledge that they can apply to maintaining, developing, and operation of manufacturing systems. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Chesterfield, MO facility.

Role Responsibilities:

+ Using lean manufacturing tools, recommends changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout, product design, and employee output as a basis for increasing production, reducing cost, improving safety, morale and quality.

+ Works on all phases of engineering projects.

+ Reviews and verifies accuracy of existing procedures, bills of material, and route sheets. Initiates engineering change orders per the engineering change order procedure.

+ Manages daily line issues as it relates to equipment and production.

+ Validates manufacturability (DFM) of production items per the product development process.

+ Coordinating manufacturing activities to meet demanding program schedules.

+ Serving as technical liaison between production, supply chain, and engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

+ 1+ year of manufacturing or Aerospace experience

+ Working experience with Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

+ Ability to apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve manufacturing processes

+ Experience with Oracle (or other ERP system) and/or Oracle Business Intelligence

+ Demonstrated customer focus and strong communication skills across different organizations and cross-functional teams

+ Experience planning and managing timelines

+ Ability to effectively analyze design/process failure modes, and drive improvement initiatives for a stronger design and process.

+ Comfortable with making decisions and dealing with ambiguity

+ Knowledge of 3D modeling software, SolidWorks preferred
