Job Summary
Are you ready to lead EHS transformation across a global footprint? As a Senior Manager EHS, you’ll be the strategic force behind Caterpillar’s safety culture, sustainability roadmap, and risk mitigation efforts. This high-impact role drives enterprise-wide change, embeds Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) principles, and leads Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) prevention strategies across multiple facilities and countries.
What You Will Do
+ Serve as the division EHS process owner, driving strategy implementation and integration across global sites.
+ Lead change initiatives to mitigate environmental risks and enhance employee safety across US, UK, Thailand, Indonesia, and India.
+ Champion Caterpillar’s Sustainable Development roadmap at the division level.
+ Embed HOP principles and SIF prevention into operational practices and leadership behaviors.
+ Promote a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, accountability, and proactive risk management.
+ Represent the division in enterprise EHS forums and cross-functional initiatives.
+ Monitor and report division EHS performance metrics to senior leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
+ Guide EHS audits, training, and compliance programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and global regulatory frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
+ **Strategic Thinking:** Ability to interpret data, build alliances, and position the organization for long-term success.
+ **Communicating for Impact:** Skilled in translating complex information and coaching others in effective communication.
+ **Managing Change:** Experience in planning and executing change initiatives with measurable outcomes.
+ **Sustainability:** Knowledge of sustainability strategy and integration into business operations.
+ **Leadership:** Proven ability to motivate teams and apply leadership theories to drive performance.
+ **EHS Policy Compliance:** Deep understanding of EHS policies and ability to embed them into organizational strategy.
+ **Global Collaboration:** Experience working across cultures and geographies to implement consistent EHS standards.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Extensive experience leading EHS programs in a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Proven success implementing SIF prevention and HOP frameworks.
+ Experience developing and executing strategies for continuous improvement in all aspects of EHS.
+ Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and international regulatory frameworks.
+ Degree in EHS, Sustainability, or related field.
Summary Pay Range:
$156,000.00 - $234,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
