Organization** **& Team** **Overview
Our Finance Technology and Automation (FTA) team works to provide innovative end-to-end solutions for our finance and accounting partners. Working with a variety of automation tools and coding languages, our team is continually developing and delivering processes that simplify the user experience and reduce busy work.
Students will work with a collaborative team of Information Systems Analysts and Technical Developers to learn how to interpret business needs and translate them into a developed solution. These solutions greatly reduce or even eliminate recurring data entry and other chore-oriented tasks of our business partners, freeing them up to perform the more value-add, analytical and business impacting work.
Role Description

Our Finance Technology & Automation (FTA) team is the place to be to try out emerging technologies like AI and Data Modeling as well as various automation tools and code languages to aide in achieving a more streamlined financial cycle.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In this role, you will work hand in hand with technical leads and our finance partners to develop automated solutions for business processes. You will gain exposure to a robust set of tools that enable you to find dynamic solutions for business problems that require end-to-end process automation. You will be working towards the most efficient possible solutions that minimize or eliminate manual efforts across functional teams.

You will be working with a variety of developers and business partners in your efforts to creatively automate business processes. Success in this role is characterized by creating solutions that are efficient and provide high speed to market, while also developing and maintaining strong relationships across functional teams. Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Developing automated solutions leveraging various tools rooted in Python, SQL, and AI/ML
+ Work hand in hand with finance & accounting business owners to help intake project requests, document requirements and think through process solutions
+ Assist with training and upskilling business partners in our ETL tool through organized office hours hosted by our team
+ Track and document tangible time and monetary savings metrics obtained through process automation to then be presented to senior leadership
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred** **Skills
+ Big Data Analytical skills
+ Experience in Python, SQL, Power Apps and AI/ML is a plus
+ Ability to digest and understand multiple work streams
+ Strong communication skills
+ Finance or General Business acumen
+ Microsoft Suite
+ Preferred Majors: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering
Minimum** **Qualifications** **and Eligibility Requirements
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
+ Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026.
+ Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
+ Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting
