Job Summary
The opportunity is onsite in Philadelphia Comcast office.
The Manager, Graphic Design helps drive Comcast’s visual design efforts, overseeing the creation of high-impact graphics, visual assets, and digital designs that communicate the company’s brand and storytelling across platforms. This role manages a team of designers and works collaboratively with communications, marketing, and production teams to deliver visually engaging materials that support corporate initiatives, events, and campaigns. The Manager ensures creative consistency, brand integrity, and design excellence across Comcast’s enterprise-wide visual communications.
Job Description
Creative Direction & Design Leadership
+ Lead concept development and execution of visual designs for campaigns, presentations, events, and digital platforms.
+ Manage a team of graphic designers, providing direction, feedback, and mentorship to ensure creative excellence.
+ Oversee design projects from initial brief through final delivery, maintaining consistency with Comcast’s brand identity and standards.
+ Collaborate with creative leadership to ensure all materials align with the company’s voice, tone, and visual guidelines.
Brand Management & Visual Consistency
+ Ensure adherence to Comcast’s brand standards across all visual content, including digital, print, and motion design.
+ Maintain and evolve brand templates, design systems, and creative toolkits for enterprise-wide use.
+ Partner with internal stakeholders to adapt corporate design principles for field and regional applications.
+ Review and approve creative work to ensure alignment with brand integrity and accessibility standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with Corporate Communications, Marketing, HR, and Production teams to deliver cohesive design solutions for enterprise initiatives.
+ Support Studio C and video production teams by providing graphic elements and design support for on-screen and event materials.
+ Collaborate with web, editorial, and content teams to deliver digital assets optimized for web, social, and mobile environments.
+ Work closely with vendors, freelancers, and agencies to manage external creative partnerships when needed.
Project & Workflow Management
+ Oversee project prioritization, timelines, and resource allocation across the design team.
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
+ Implement efficient design workflows, version control, and asset management practices.
+ Partner with the Corporate Site and Production Operations teams to align design support with key company moments and launches.
Innovation & Design Excellence
+ Stay current on design trends, tools, and technologies to continually elevate Comcast’s creative output.
+ Encourage experimentation and creative problem-solving within the design team.
+ Identify opportunities to enhance visual storytelling through new formats, motion graphics, and interactive design.
+ Support continuous improvement of processes that drive speed, creativity, and quality across deliverables.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 6–8 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
+ Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, layout, and branding across digital and print media.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and design collaboration tools.
+ Excellent project management, communication, and team leadership skills.
+ Ability to balance creative excellence with operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
+ Experience managing creative teams within a large corporation or agency environment.
+ Familiarity with motion design, data visualization, and video graphics.
+ Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and cross-platform asset delivery.
+ Background in telecommunications, media, or technology sectors.
+ Experience working with vendors, agencies, and cross-functional creative teams.
