As an **Onsite Conference Room AV Support Technician** , you will be the front-line expert ensuring seamless audio-visual experiences for meetings, live events, and executive engagements. Your main responsibility is to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize conference room technology, enabling employees to focus on business objectives without technical disruptions. This role requires deep technical proficiency, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to perform under pressure during high-profile events.
Responsibilities:
+ Apply POLY Lens, Crestron XiO Cloud, NEAT Pulse, and ZDM for monitoring and managing AV systems.
+ Provide onsite AV support for meetings, live events, webinars, and hybrid town halls.
+ Configure and maintain AV hardware/software across platforms like Crestron, Biamp, Zoom, Poly, NEAT, and NEC.
+ Troubleshoot AV issues and resolve incidents using ServiceNow, ensuring SLA compliance.
+ Support executive-level meetings with integrity and discretion.
+ Perform health checks, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance on AV equipment.
+ Collaborate with vendors and integrators for installations, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting.
+ Document AV configurations and processes; stay current with emerging AV and GenAI technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting AV systems and conference room technology, including Zoom Rooms and coordinated AV control systems.
+ Solid grasp of AV networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, Dante, and AV-over-IP.
+ Skilled in interpreting AV system diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting and setup.
+ Superb communication and interpersonal skills, especially in executive-level support scenarios.
+ Capable of lifting and maneuvering AV equipment and displays (typically up to 50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification
+ Dante certification
+ Crestron NVX/DM certification
+ NDI (Network Device Interface) certification
+ GenAI-related certifications (e.g., AI in AV workflows, automation tools)
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$90,000.00 - $154,000.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
