    NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Program Manager – ERP Transition to lead a large-scale transformation initiative to migrate the legacy business systems into the company's main ERP platform. This role demands strong ERP and finance process expertise, proven experience in program management, and the ability to drive alignment across multiple workstreams and global teams.

     

    The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex programs involving technology, process, and organizational change.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex ERP transformation programs, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget.

     

    Develop and maintain program roadmaps, detailed project plans, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), including milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

     

    Provide strategic oversight and direction to global cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with business and IT objectives.

     

    Collaborate with finance, technology, and business leaders to define and measure ROI, KPIs, and benefit realization.

     

    Manage program budgets and forecasts, tracking actuals to ensure adherence to financial controls.

     

    Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating appropriately and ensuring timely resolution.

     

    Partner with executive governance and steering committees to align on priorities, outcomes, and communication.

     

    Ensure robust organizational change management (OCM) and business readiness for system deployment.

     

    Mentor project managers and workstream leads, providing escalation support and promoting best practices.

     

    Coordinate and communicate effectively across global, distributed teams.

    Qualifications

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.

     

    Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

    Experience

    + 12+ years of overall project/program management experience.

    + Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale ERP transformation or implementation programs, preferably within finance or enterprise systems.

    + Experience managing multi-workstream, cross-functional, global programs.

    + Familiarity with Six Sigma, ITIL, COBIT, or similar quality frameworks.

    + Proven track record in organizational change management (OCM) using frameworks like Prosci or ADKAR.

    Certifications

    + Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required.

    + Prosci Change Management certification (preferred).

    + Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.

    Required Skill Set & Experience

    + ERP & Finance Systems (5–7 years)

    + Experience managing ERP implementations or migrations (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).

    + In-depth understanding of core financial processes — General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, and Reporting.

    + Hands-on experience in ERP data migration, integration testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.

    + Proven ability to bridge gaps between business and technical teams in finance transformation programs.

    + Program & Project Management (5–7 years)

    + Expertise in managing enterprise-scale programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.

    + Demonstrated success using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid delivery models.

    + Strong experience defining governance frameworks, dashboards, and status reporting mechanisms.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project planning tools.

    + Leadership & Team Management (5–7 years)

    + Proven ability to lead and motivate global, cross-functional teams.

    + Skilled in stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and conflict resolution.

    + Experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing project managers or leads.

    + Demonstrated capability to influence without authority in matrixed organizations.

    + Financial & Analytical Acumen (5–7 years)

    + Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial management skills for multi-million-dollar programs.

    + Experience developing and tracking business cases, ROI models, and benefits realization plans.

    + Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for evaluating program performance metrics.

    + Change Management & Business Readiness (5–7 years)

    + Experience implementing change management strategies and communication plans for enterprise programs.

    + Hands-on experience driving business adoption, stakeholder alignment, and training programs.

    + Skilled in assessing organizational readiness and managing resistance during transitions.

    + Technology & Tools (5–7 years)

    + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

    + Experience with collaboration and workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint).

    + Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) for program dashboards.

     

    Job Complexity

     

    Works on highly complex issues requiring strategic judgment and the evaluation of intangible factors.

     

    Operates independently with minimal oversight and significant decision-making authority.

     

    Serves as a key advisor and representative for enterprise-level transformation initiatives.

    Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is **($70 - $80/hourly )** . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

     

    This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
