About the Team
The Senior Systems Engineer will join a dynamic and innovative team focused on driving success with high-profile accounts at Nutanix. Our remote team is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive culture that values creativity, proactive problem-solving, and technical excellence. We aim to empower clients with cutting-edge solutions in the IT landscape, primarily by leveraging Nutanix and cloud-native technologies to meet their unique business objectives.
You will report to the Manager, Systems Engineer, who embraces a participative leadership style, encouraging team collaboration and open communication to promote growth and development. This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility, while occasional on-site presence may be needed for team meetings or client engagements, up to 25% of the time.
Your Role
+ Engage with customers to understand business needs and deliver tailored technical solutions.
+ Conduct impactful technical presentations and demos to effectively communicate product advantages.
+ Collaborate with sales executives to strategize account penetration and identify new business opportunities.
+ Develop and size project solutions, creating compelling proposals for clients to drive sales success.
+ Participate in cross-functional meetings and marketing events, representing the team and company effectively.
+ Maintain accurate Salesforce records and manage back-office tasks to support overall sales efforts.
+ Build strong relationships within the Charter Spectrum Reach account to foster long-term partnerships.
+ Demonstrate a proactive approach in seeking new sales opportunities, applying a hunter mentality in execution.
What You Will Bring
+ 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in IT and sales.
+ Proven experience with Nutanix solutions and cloud native technologies is a plus.
+ Familiarity with one of the three major public clouds or Kubernetes is a plus.
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills with a client-centric approach.
+ Hunter mentality with a focus on sales execution and opportunity identification.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
+ Proficient in Salesforce and related sales support activities.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,600 and USD $ 248,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
