Job Summary:

Ocala Health is a seeking an experienced cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Prior cardiac experience required

+ Proficient in vein harvesting (EVH and open) required

+ Join two cardiothoracic surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers

+ 80% of time spent in hospital / 20% in clinic

+ Hospital work focused on inpatient rounding, consults, discharges, some ICU & surgery

+ First assist in procedures

+ Share call with Advanced Practice Providers

+ Must be NCCPA board certified

+ Practice specializes in the latest minimally invasive cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical techniques (mitral valve repair, thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, TAVR)
