Job Description
We are seeking a data analyst to support our Business Deposits product team. This role partners with risk and product stakeholders to shape data-driven strategies and develop recommendations that balance risk avoidance with exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead big data and analytics projects by gathering, integrating, and analyzing large volumes of data from multiple sources.
Identify trends and patterns in complex datasets to answer key business questions and inform strategic discussions.
Develop actionable insights and recommendations, and present findings in a clear, compelling format to drive data-informed decision-making.
Collaborate across teams to provide a holistic view of analysis and ensure alignment with business goals.
Monitor the impact of implemented recommendations and adjust strategies as needed.
Ensure all data handling and sharing practices comply with company standards.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
+ Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
+ Prior experience with banking / fintech products (especially deposits) and corresponding risk functions
+ Experience with business analysis tools and techniques such as cohort analysis, churn / retention, pricing sensitivity etc.
+ Experience in descriptive and quantitative analyses, advanced analytics leveraging a broad scope of statistical methodologies, modeling
+ Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, SAS etc. to perform analysis and interpret data
+ Proficiency working with Jira, Confluence, Power BI for visualization
+ Demonstrated project management skills
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and storytelling skills to synthesize complex data into meaningful insights and influence strategy.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
+ Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping solutions in a dynamic environment.
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
