We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team player to join our security operations team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring service queues, responding to security alerts, and supporting incident response efforts. You’ll work across multiple security platforms, assist in investigations, and collaborate with teams across the organization to help protect our environment and support broader company initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment. You should be able to follow procedures, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a service-oriented mindset while driving results. Duties and Responsibilities
+ Monitor ticketing queue and complete assigned service requests, tasks, and incidents.
+ Monitor and respond to security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents.
+ Establish operational proficiency in multiple security systems.
+ Assist in the investigation and analysis of security events to determine root cause and impact.
+ Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams for remediation activities.
+ Collaborate with various internal teams to support operations and company tasks, goals, and projects.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to learn new technologies and processes.
+ Ability to follow written and established procedures.
+ Ability to follow specific directions of your manager and adhere to task prioritizations.
+ Ability to consistently perform assigned tasks and communicate delays or work stoppages.
+ Ability to work within virtual/remote environments and establish good relationships with peers.
+ Ability to work and collaborate with resources in multiple locations and business units.
+ Ability to get results while maintaining a service orientation.
Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
This position is remote with travel/onsite requirements. To be successful at PCG, you must:
+ be available during your set working hours
+ have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment in which to complete your work, and
+ be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties
Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until filled. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: Range: $62,000-$72,700
