    Job Description:

    Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Safety Specialist** to join our team!

    What You'll Be Doing:

    + Assists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.

    + Ensure project sites and activities are compliant with OSHA and Parsons Safety standards.

    + Inspects worksites to detect hazard; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.

    + Creates and submits written audit and inspection reports.

    + Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.

    + Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.

    + Performs trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.

    + Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.

    + Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.

    + Creates and maintains SH&E training records.

    + Participates in routine safe work briefings.

    What Required Skills You'll Bring:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience)

    + 2+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety

    + Working knowledge of federal and state SH&E regulations and reporting procedures.

    + Working knowledge of safety-related national consensus standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).

    + Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

    Salary Range: $29.95 - $52.40
