Fairview Hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation program helps patients maintain a heart-healthy lifestyle by identifying risk factors and modifying their lifestyles, such as implementing proper diet and exercise. The Cardiac Rehabilitation department is certified through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), which assures that patients are receiving the highest quality care and staff receives timely access to updates regarding medical advancements, professional development, legislation and reimbursement.
As an RN on our team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off, providing professional nursing care to a specified group of patients in a variety of ambulatory care settings.
This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working shifts varying between 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 8:0 p.m.
_This role requires you to work in a variety of settings - Fairview Hospital, Wellness Center and REJ/Avon FHC._
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
+ Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
+ Administer medication and treatments.
+ Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
+ Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
+ Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
+ Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
+ Cover other nursing roles within the department.
+ May require travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures in various locations.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
+ Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within six months of hire
+ One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
+ Cardiac background (Cardiac step down, Cath lab or Cardiac ICU)
+ Experience with cardiac and/or pulmonary patients
+ Exercise instruction/supervision experience

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $39.00
Maximum hourly: $39.00
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
