Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

Create the design, documentation, product configurations, customization and support of software related Clinical Technology Solutions for Parallon and HCA Healthcare. Responsible for partnering with developers, technicians, analysts, and business process experts on strategic programs, projects, and activities to support the technology roadmap. Develops positive relationships with business and technology stakeholders. Manages multiple development projects at a time independently or part of a larger team. Ensures repeatable processes are documented and adheres to HCA design and development standards. Provides on call production support as needed to support the Clinical Technology Solution teams. May require travel to complete project work.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

+ Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.

+ Ensure quality in the definition and development of product software specifications utilizing best practices and processes

+ Responsible for the full life-cycle process from design to development, testing, product release and maintenance.

+ Responsible for the development and utilization of metrics to measure productivity and effective operational processes.

+ Responsible creation of a personal development plan focused on leadership and technical acumen.

+ Assist in implementing and refining a successful product development process, including identification of key decision points, decision-making matrices highlighting risks/benefits associated with critical decision options, and application of appropriate portfolio management principles

+ Create and maintain case management business process maps, data designs, system integration documentation

REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs

+ Large enterprise application deployment experience from design through support

+ Previous experience creating prototypes for rapid design/development

+ Demonstrated experience in business process mapping, data, functional and technical documentation

+ Experience troubleshooting end user access and data issues in large corporate environment

+ Manages and performs end to end workflow analysis to include time studies, documentation of current state workflow, future state workflow, gap analysis and identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for implementation.

+ Develops technical design, builds and performs implementation of new technical solutions for operational and business processes.

+ Maintain strong relationships with Revenue Cycle (IPAT,CPAT) and Parallon leadership of other functional groups within Automation and ITG.

+ Partners with other innovation teams (e.g. Accelerated Technology) and key stakeholders to optimize processes and achieve the highest quality solutions in support of our customers and URS priorities.

+ Develops business processes, defines requirements, and document technical specifications to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables.

+ Performs data analysis and provides recommendations for system/process changes which impact the end-user and the enterprise

+ Ability to multitask, given various task assignments, assisting management in prioritization of tasks.

+ Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies, methods, and processes.

+ Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skill with address clinical and technical issues and/or design.

+ Provides Tier III support for technical solutions, including upgrades, code fixes and new product implementations. This includes functional validation of solutions before they released to end users

+ Performs other duties as assigned.
