    **Acute Occupational Therapist** responsibilities:

    + Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

    + Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), cognitive function, and upper extremity strength and coordination.

    + Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    + Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and home safety.

    + Accurately document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic medical record.

    + Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to discharge planning.

    + A supervising licensed Occupational Therapist may only supervise 1 permittee at any given time.

    Requirements:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + OT (Occupational Therapy)

    + Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain

    + Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy

    + Preferred 1 year Occupational Therapy
