The Role
Global Engineering Operations and Specifications (GEOS) is seeking a visionary and enterprise-minded leader to serve as the Strategy Lead for Knowledge Management Transformation. This role is responsible for leading the re-imagining of Knowledge Management Process and Tool set for the engineering enterprise. The successful candidate will operate with broad influence, shaping the future of Knowledge Management at GM through cross-functional collaboration, prioritization, and execution excellence.

What You'll Do
+ Lead strategic, cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive consistency and efficiencies through the organization
+ Develop and lead the governance of Knowledge Management across GM, ensuring alignment with Global Product Development and enterprise strategy.
+ Establish clear distinctions between work types through structured, data-informed optimization strategies.
+ Lead team to evaluate current state tool & process landscape
+ Design and facilitate workshops with strategic intent to maximize participant engagement and drive effective decision-making
+ Lead with influence, challenge conventional approaches, innovate and embrace change
+ Create an optimized enterprise tool(s) & process landscape
+ Construct templated roles and responsibilities (Responsible, Approval, Support, Inform, Consult - RASIC, etc).
+ Lead the creation of an implementation roadmap.
+ Serve as a strategic partner to technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
+ Develop and deliver clear, concise project summaries tailored for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and maintain alignment across teams.
+ Facilitate alignment across leadership tiers and functional boundaries.
+ Manage expectations and drive transparency in decision-making and prioritization.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in vehicle program/product management, with significant exposure to AI or digital transformation.
+ Proven success in leading enterprise-wide initiatives and managing complex, high-impact portfolios.
+ Exceptional strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
+ Experience working with IT partners
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
+ Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
+ 10+ years of experience in vehicle program/product management, with significant exposure to AI or digital transformation.
+ Experience in General Motor’s Global Engineering Operations
+ Familiarity with Auros and/or other knowledge management software
