    **ABOUT THE ROLE:** Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, this role will focus heavily on **data management, analysis, and reporting** with a specific emphasis on **operational efficiency** within **Pittsburgh Mercy.** It blends **auditing** **,** **process improvement** **,** and **strategic data-driven decision-making** **.** Essential Functions are as follows:

    Research & Analysis:

    + Gathering data to support initiatives.

    + Analyzing data trends and synthesizing information into actionable insights.

    + Creating reports and visual representations (like graphs) to assist leadership in decision-making.

    Collaboration & Leadership:

    + Leading process improvement projects, using data to identify opportunities for efficiency or performance enhancement.

    + Collaborating with various teams to implement changes and drive outcomes in patient care or business operations.

    Operational & Systemic Knowledge:

    + Using multiple systems to manage and analyze data.

    + Having a solid understanding of internal policies, practices, and procedures to ensure everything aligns with quality and safety standards.

    Compliance & Ethical Standards:

    + Ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines (federal, state, local) and maintaining ethical standards, particularly in healthcare-related activities.
