Job Summary and Responsibilities

+ Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift for patients

+ Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation

+ Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging

+ Unit also cares for med surg telemetry patients.This is Nursing Surgical Floor (not OR):

+ Specializes in abdominal surgery including Bariatrics

+ How many beds 30

+ RN to Patient ratio 1:5

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Degree in Nursing from an accredited program college, or university

+ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire.

+ At least one (1) year of RN experience

+ Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing

+ Basic Life Support (BLS)

Pay Range

$33.00 - $52.80 /hour
