    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Seeking a teacher for adult English as a Second Language students. Key responsibilities include:

     

    + Provide instruction to English language learners in districts in the region

    + Assisting student in academic and non-academic settings for the purpose of supporting effective communication

    + Accurately completing all paperwork related to position as required by school policies and procedures

    Job Qualifications

    REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Four-year degree in education or a combination of four years of training and experience with teaching English as a second language.

    + Excellent computer skills, organization and communication skills.

    + Ability to provide instruction and support for adult students to improve their language skills and prepare them for employment/college.

    + Applicants who are not already NY State Certified must complete the necessary steps and apply for Adult Education Instructor Certification.
