The **787 Monuments Team** within **Boeing Commercial Aircraft** Payloads Organization is seeking **Associate and Mid Level** **Engineers** to join our team in **Everett, WA** .
The Payloads Organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and much of which you don’t. The Interiors of the airplane, along with the cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. **We are how our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand and shape how the public experiences flight.** Our organization is a fast paced, dynamic environment, which pulls from many engineering backgrounds.
Monument Engineers are responsible for managing the integration of multiple supplier designed products into our Boeing aircrafts by overseeing the galleys, lavatories, and other equipment designs to ensure all customer, regulatory, and Boeing requirements are met.
This position requires the ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders, communicate with executive leadership and customers located around the world, and lead/influence technical teams to coordinate work and resolve emergent issues. Stakeholder include but not limited to suppliers, customers, sales, supplier management, engineering teams, regulatory administrators, and manufacturing teams. **Significant amount of domestic and international travel is required, some on short notice.**
Position Requirements:
+ Supports multiple engineering projects in a dynamic and demanding environment.
+ Understands standard engineering and manufacturing processes.
+ Works with external stakeholders and or leadership.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering
+ 2+ years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Experience supporting a cross-functional team
+ Ability to use a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to a variety of audiences
+ Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release processes
+ Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and critical thinking
+ Demonstrated interest in continuous personal learning and development
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Masters’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $80,750 - $109,250
Summary pay range Mid Level (Level 3): $90,050 - $129,950
