As a **Security Officer - Government Dispatch Full-Time** in **Riverside, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a government setting, you will play a vital role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities across the location. Your responsibilities include maintaining communication with field staff, supporting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and team members. You will help to deter security-related incidents through attentive observation and proactive response, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the government location.

+ Maintain detailed logs of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatch activities to support incident response and site operations.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries related to security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating support as directed.

+ Collaborate with on-site security-related teams to help to deter unauthorized activities and support emergency response protocols.

+ Conduct regular communication checks with security-related staff positioned throughout the location to help to maintain situational awareness.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
