    We’re here for it. We think you should be too. We’re looking for a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as a Manager, Visual Merchandising - New Store Openings.

     

    The Manager, Visual Merchandising - New Store Openings will support the end-to-end visual merchandising process for all new store openings and renovations for Crate and Barrel.

     

    This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, Illinois office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

     

    A day in the life as a Manager, Visual Merchandising - New Store Openings…

    + Support the development of floorplans, fixture layouts, and product presentation strategies to support customer flow, product density, and visual impact

    + Lead coordination with Store Design, Operations, Merchandising, Allocation and Marketing teams to ensure a unified, on-brand launch execution

    + Manage development and implementation of special localization visual layer

    + Prepare detailed visual plans and tools (e.g., floor set guides, display maps, VM packs) to guide store setup teams

    + Travel to store locations to support the physical installation of visual merchandising elements.

    + Contribute to the development and refinement of visual merchandising guidelines and playbooks

    + Support post-opening adjustments based on Sales performance feedback and visual audits

     

    What you’ll bring to the table…

     

    + Deep expertise in visual merchandising and strong understanding of spatial planning

    + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex, fast-paced store launches

    + Ability to successfully guide and move forward multiple projects at one time

    + Demonstrated ability and desire to successfully lead and inspire a high performing team

    + Proactive problem solving skills

    + Ability to appropriately adjust communication (verbal and written) and presentation style and content to the audience

     

    We’d love to hear from you if you have…

     

    + Must provide a link to portfolio (including password) on resume or provide PDF samples

    + 5+ years previous experience working in retail visual merchandising

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + Experienced with CAD, InDesign, Photoshop

    + Experienced with Google and MS Office Suites

    + Proven ability to manage projects and teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

    + Ability to travel as needed and work non-traditional hours during launch periods

     

    Minimum Starting Rate: $83,000.00 Annually

     

    Up to: $100,000.00 Annually

     

    Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
