    Meadowview of Clive, a Cassia community in Clive, Iowa, has a wonderful opportunity for a Housekeeper/ Maintenance Assistant to join our team! Come and join our supportive, energetic and passionate team, where your skills will help make an impact on our community.

     

    In this role, you will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, open-minded, and has a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being. This is an ideal position for people who love working with others!

     

    Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

    Housekeeper/Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:

    + Provides carpet and floor care in residents rooms and common areas.

    + Disposes of trash from common areas and resident rooms.

    + Additional duties may include cleaning windows, moving and arranging furniture.

    + Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.

    + Follow scheduled maintenance program.

    + Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.

    + Follow-through on projects with little supervision.

    + Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.

    + Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.

    + Painting walls, paint retouches, and other related tasks .

    + Perform other duties as requested.

    Housekeeper/Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

    + Prior custodial and maintenance experience.

    + Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.

    + Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.

    + Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.

    + Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
