    Plant Quality Manager – Tier-1 Automotive

    **Location:** Southeast of Indianapolis, IN | On-Site | Full-Time

     

    $110K–$130K Base + Full Benefits + Relocation Support

     
     

    We’re hiring a **Plant Quality Manager** for a **flagship Tier-1 automotive facility** outside Indianapolis. This is a **confidential, high-impact role** leading plant-wide quality initiatives, managing internal systems, and owning customer relationships.

     

    This role has **direct visibility** to both **regional and global quality leadership** , and is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments focused on **continuous improvement, systems compliance, and team growth** .

    What You’ll Own (not all required experience)

    + Lead and execute the **plant’s quality strategy** in alignment with corporate and customer expectations

    + Represent **customer quality requirements** internally and ensure they’re implemented on the floor

    + Drive **continuous improvement** , audit readiness, and regulatory compliance (IATF, ISO)

    + Define and monitor **key quality KPIs** , reporting to both site and corporate leaders

    + Oversee **supplier quality programs** in collaboration with purchasing and engineering

    + Develop, lead, and mentor the **site quality team** , including staffing and process development

    + Serve as the escalation point for **product nonconformances** and enforce quality holds when needed

    + Maintain and improve the **Plant Quality Management System** , including document control and records

    What You Bring (flexible)

    + **Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering** (preferred depending on experience)

    + **5 years of plant-level quality leadership or 5-8 years of plant-level quality engineering experience** in manufacturing (automotive preferred)

    + Demonstrated experience with **IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001/45001** or equivalent systems
