This position is located in Richmond, VA and is in office Monday through Friday.
As a Senior Training Coordinator you will assist with the day-to-day tasks of the human resources training functions, supporting general administrative duties, training scheduling and logistics, communications, enrollment, database management.
Responsibilities:
+ Schedule internal and external training programs
+ Manage logistics for training activities including venues and equipment
+ Partner with internal stakeholders to coordinate employee training needs
+ Organize venue set-up including, signage, swag, participant materials, and audio/visual equipment needs
+ Serve as the point of contact for inquiries regarding training programs. Oversee training enrollments and attendance tracking
+ Conduct post-event evaluation and follow-ups, assessing the event’s success by collecting feedback, analyzing available data, and preparing post-event reports
+ Maintain employee training records and reporting
+ Establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers
+ Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
+ Track training expenses.
+ Track and report training hours.
+ Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
+ Support other efforts in Human Resources as needed.
Qualifications:
+ CompletedBachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communication or related field required from a not for-profit college or university.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments
+ Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
+ 2 years of experience in HR, Recruiting or Administrative role
+ Proficient using Microsoft Suite
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
+ Must be able to demonstrate the following competencies: sense of urgency; motivation; detailed approach; intellectual curiosity; adaptability; teamwork; problem solving; and communication skills.
+ Experience in expense management, travel, and invoicing software
+ Experience with Workday
