    Our client, a leader autonomous vehicles, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineering Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of product quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring manufacturing excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully within the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Quality Engineering Technician

    **Location:** Fremont, CA or Lathrop, CA

    **Pay Range:** $40/hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Evaluate parts produced on various production lines, including electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and final assemblies, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

    + Flag suspect or nonconforming production parts, remove them from the line, and support engineering with containment activities to meet company standards.

    + Lead the organization and completion of quality trials, collaborating with Quality Engineers and supporting new line validations.

    + Create and maintain quality instruction documents to ensure clarity and consistency in processes.

    + Assist in identifying and resolving manufacturing quality issues, including sorting parts and supporting root cause analysis efforts.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.

    + Experience with quality systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

    + Knowledge of quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA is preferred.

    + Understanding of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, TPS, TQM, GD&T, and electronic test and measurement systems is highly desirable.

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, pulling and manipulating data, and escalating issues appropriately.
