    Our client, a dedicated law enforcement organization committed to community safety and service, is seeking a Jail Detention Officer to join their team. As a Jail Detention Officer, you will be an essential part of the detention facility, supporting the safety and well-being of staff and inmates alike. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility, which will align successfully within the organization.

    **Pay Range:** $37,455

    Shift:

    What's the Job?

     

    + Provide specialized inmate detention and care within a Law Enforcement Detention Center.

    + Follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment in task performance under general supervision.

    + Ensure the safety and security of inmates, staff, and visitors.

    + Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inmate activities.

    + Respond appropriately to emergencies and enforce facility rules and regulations.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum age of 20 years old.

    + High School diploma or GED equivalent.

    + U.S. citizenship.

    + Successful completion of criminal background check.

    + Ability to pass drug screening and medical examination.
