Summary
Come join us at Corporate HQ for Summer 2026! Our Cybersecurity internship will offer students hands-on, real-world experience within the company over an 8 – 10-week period. Come experience an inside look in the world of
Cybersecurity: Identity and Access Management (IAM) • Enterprise Architecture (EA) • Security Operations • Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) This position is based at corporate headquarters in Salisbury, MD. Relocation assistance is available.

This position has a target wage of $21.90 - $28.13 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications. Overtime may be available.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Work with a summer mentor learning various aspects of Cybersecurity – IAM, EA, Security Operations, and GRC
+ Manage user access for information within Perdue systems
+ Develop cybersecurity standards to meet compliance requirements
+ Assist investigations for potential cybersecurity incidents
+ Must be able to interact with Senior Leadership Will tour different company business functions and locations such as the Innovation Center, Perdue Learning University, and Live Production Farms
Minimum Education
+ Must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the start of the internship enrolled in a degree focused on technology, mathematics, or cybersecurity
+ Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher
Preferred
+ 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
+ Completed at least two (2) college-level programming or cybersecurity classes
Experience Requirements
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software
+ Must have effective communication skills, including written and verbal
+ Ability to work independently
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams to drive project outcomes and meeting milestones
Experience Preferred
+ Previous internship, academic research, or hands-on personal projects related to cybersecurity or technology
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db.
May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders.
