    We're searching for a Project Controls Manager to lead the financial management, reporting, and compliance efforts that support our complex facade projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate project financials, cost performance, and contract compliance from project launch through closeout.

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Project Controls Manager supports the operations project team throughout the lifecycle of projects, from initiation to closeout. The role involves close collaboration with operations teams, focusing primarily on tracking and reporting project cost information and project-specific requirements as needed. Also responsible for the development, implementation, staffing and training of project control resources.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Key responsibilities include:

    + Oversee all aspects of project financial controls, including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and variance analysis.

    + Partner with project management teams to develop and maintain accurate project budgets and projections.

    + Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements

    + Assisting in the setup and implementation of project tools and cost tracking logs

    + Lead all compliance efforts including MBE/WBE/SBE requirements and serve as the project's primary point of contact for related reporting and coordination.

    Financial duties include:

    + Project revenue and cost projections

    + Monthly rollouts and status reports

    + Monthly progress billings, backup for stored materials, and lien waiver management

    + Insurance and bonding maintenance

    + Project audits as required

    + Reviewing and reconciling field labor hours and costs with the ERP system

    + Supporting project and job setup functions within the ERP system

     

    Additional responsibilities include subcontract coordination for insurance and OCIP needs in accordance with contract requirements, managing project diversity and small business reporting needs, and assisting with project closeout activities as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    The position requires an associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience. Five to eight years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related industry with a focus on financial controls, billings, and compliance.

    Essential skills and knowledge include:

    + Strong understanding of project accounting and finance principles

    + Knowledge of contract compliance related to small business, diversity, insurance, and labor compliance

    + Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and communicate financial information clearly and effectively

    + Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with flexibility to handle multiple tasks

    + Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint

    + Familiarity with project scheduling and resource planning

    + Ability to travel domestically up to 20% to project sites and office locations.

    COMPENSATION

    At the Enclos family of companies, compensation is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. The successful candidate for the Project Controls Manager role in Las Vegas, NV can expect to earn $85,000 to $105,000 per year. This position is also eligible to participate in the company's incentive bonus plan.

They must frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material.

     

    The employee will have frequent repetitive motions and occasionally be able to lift or move 25 lbs. The employee has constant requirement of specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. They must occasionally wear eye and ear protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required) in various work environments.

    Definitions:

    Constant (5-8 hrs/shift)

     

    Frequent (2-5 hrs/shift)

     

    Occasional (Up to 2 hrs/shift)
