    Job Title: Construction Superintendent

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the onsite construction supervision of subcontractors and internal staff. This role involves managing projects ranging from $3 million to $15 million, including gas stations, hotels, sports areas, and university renovations. The superintendent is responsible for ensuring the timely and profitable completion of all assigned construction projects while maintaining high customer satisfaction and supervising all personnel involved in the projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage all onsite construction supervision of subcontractors and internal staff.

    + Oversee projects involving large remodels or new construction.

    + Ensure the timely and profitable completion of all construction projects.

    + Create and maintain the highest degree of customer satisfaction.

    + Supervise all personnel performing work-related functions on the project.

    Essential Skills

    + 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably ground-up projects valued at $8 million and above.

    + Proficiency in construction software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam.

    + Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

    + Experience in running projects, general contracting, and construction supervision.

    + Knowledge of safety guidelines as required by OSHA, including an OSHA 30 certification.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 4-year degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.

    + Experience managing, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors.

    + Previous work on budgets ranging from $2 million to $5 million.

    + OSHA 10 certification.

    Work Environment

    The superintendent will primarily work in the field, managing direct reports and subcontractors, with occasional office meetings. The position may require travel, with potential job site locations in Sioux City, IA, Manhattan, KS, Grand Island, NE, Columbus, NE, and possibly Fargo, ND. Traveling superintendents will work four 10-hour days to allow for weekends at home.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
