    Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

     

    Join our dynamic surveying team dedicated to providing land surveying and mapping services for projects of all sizes across Southern California. Our comprehensive range of services includes construction staking, ALTA land title surveys, boundary, topographic and aerial surveys, condominium plans, vertical airspace maps, parcel and tract maps, legal descriptions, and laser scanning. We deliver top-tier surveying solutions to a diverse array of clients, including engineers, developers, architects, contractors, individuals, title companies, mortgage companies, and public agencies.

    Responsibilities

    + Organize, manage, and direct field survey crew in completing boundary, topographic, ALTA, right of way, construction staking, and subdivision projects.

    + Calculate and analyze field boundary data, assist field survey crews on complex survey engagements, and perform survey research.

    + Prepare various survey deliverables such as ALTA’s, subdivision maps, legal descriptions, construction staking calculations, and condominium plans.

    + Market new work, build relationships, and participate or lead the proposal process.

    + Manage the project schedule, including delegating tasks to staff (field and office), performing quality reviews, and signing and stamping deliverables.

    + Manage client expectations to deliver projects on time and within budget.

    + Visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and provide direction to field crews for completion of survey tasks.

    + Utilize sound judgment, independent decision-making, and prolonged focus.

    Essential Skills

    + California P.L.S. license required.

    + Thrive in a fast-paced environment working in multidisciplinary teams.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Demonstrated knowledge and application of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of surveying.

    + Understanding of related fields and areas of operation that affect or are affected by your area of expertise.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in topography, project management, and land surveying.

    + Experience with Civil 3D and CAD.

    + Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time at a desk working on a computer and viewing a screen.

Start times are flexible between 7-9am. Full in-house presence is required for PLS candidates.     This is a Permanent position based out of Los Angeles, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
