Job Title: Production Process OwnerJob Description
Join our team as a Production Process Owner, where you will lead the execution of all production processes, manage product flow, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. You will establish operational policies and be actively involved in global operations alignment while fostering local organizational development.
Responsibilities
+ Act as the production process owner responsible for the execution of all processes related to production.
+ Manage product flow and schedule execution within the organization.
+ Communicate, align, and implement defined strategies while meeting set goals.
+ Establish operational policies for proper fabrication and verification of products.
+ Participate in the global alignment of operations activities.
+ Develop the local organization in terms of competence and succession planning.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
+ Lean or Six Sigma Certifications.
+ Advanced computer skills, including ERP, MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and data analysis.
+ 2 years of production management or logistics experience.
+ Experience within an industrial manufacturing environment, ideally a robotics automation plant.
+ Experience with AutoCAD design modifications.
+ 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, production, or quality areas.
+ 1-2 years of people management experience.
+ Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and machine performance reports.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Project engineering experience.
+ Mechanical engineering and engineering management skills.
+ Design, mechanical, and SolidWorks proficiency.
+ Industrial engineering and robotics knowledge.
+ Passport eligibility.
Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing and assembly factory that is climate-controlled. The role involves primarily desk work and remote support, with 15-25% site visits to potentially dirty and unpleasant environments such as meat processing facilities and wastewater treatment plants. The position involves managing a 3rd shift team from 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM, overseeing 7 people and significant capital equipment. Opportunities for career growth exist both within the US and internationally, with the potential for hybrid work arrangements once trained. The plant aims to be carbon neutral by 2030.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
Lots of room for growth, will start on day shift but seeing a ton of growth in their department due to data center growth
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
