Lab Systems Scientist

Description
This lab adjacent role is critical to maintaining compliance and operational efficiency to a growing laboratory. The right candidate will bring both technical depth and compliance awareness, helping to stabilize and scale lab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Instrument Qualification & Software Validation
o IQ/OQ/PQ processes
o Validation of lab software systems (e.g., Empower, MassHunter, Chromeleon)
o Annual audit trail reviews and procedure documentation
o Troubleshooting and vendor coordination (Thermo, Agilent, etc.)
Lab Systems Support
o Support for mass spectrometry and chromatography instrumentation
o Lab logistics and workflow optimization
o No direct testing, but adjacent to lab operations
o Collaborate with facilities for new instrument validation
Compliance & Documentation
o Ensure alignment with 21 CFR Part 11
o Document control and LIMS (LabVantage) support
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors' degree in science related industry
1+ years of experience with mass spectrometry
2+ years of laboratory experience post college
familiarity with a regulated environment
Experience with complex data systems (Empower, MassHunter, Chromeleon)
6+ months of LIMS, lab software administration and troubleshooting experience
Nice to have qualifications
Previous field service experience
Previous Windchill experience
Experience Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
