Job Title: Printer OperatorJob Description

Join our team as a Printer Operator where you will ensure product assurance through rigorous paper feed tests and operate prototype development products for testing purposes. This role involves loading paper, removing copies, documenting and resolving issues, and entering data into a PC. You will collaborate closely with test engineers, providing valuable input on product performance.

Responsibilities

+ Perform paper feed reliability tests and monitor print/copy quality.

+ Conduct printer robustness testing and evaluate competitive printer products.

+ Execute sub-system testing and printhead/cartridge yield and reliability testing.

+ Review output for defects and ensure products meet quality standards.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with reliability testing and handling repetitive motions.

+ Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with product performance evaluation.

+ Experience with inserter machines and general technical tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Attention to detail and ability to feed paper into printers efficiently.

+ Demonstrated reliability and good attendance record.

+ Previous job experience requiring long shifts and standing for extended periods.

+ Fundamental computer knowledge, including using a mouse.

+ Stable employment history showcasing longevity in previous roles.

Work Environment

This position is based in a lab environment with a controlled, clean setting. You will work on the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 4 pm to 2:30 am, with initial training on the 1st shift (6 am to 4:30 pm). This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.42 - $15.42/hr.
