    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Description

    Join a leading global supplier of magnet wire, supporting automotive, energy, industrial, and commercial and residential industries. With over 120 years of innovation, the company has expanded its Johnson County, Indiana facility to meet the growing demands of the EV market. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and improving production methods and processes for copper magnet wire products.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead small process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

    + Provide effective troubleshooting and support for manufacturing processes.

    + Assist in the development and implementation of new process and equipment projects.

    + Demonstrate a thorough understanding of magnet wire manufacturing and process controls.

    + Compile standardized documents and conduct training sessions.

    + Coordinate and perform trials in compliance with company and customer standards.

    + Design and execute trials to qualify and evaluate equipment.

    + Maintain process sheets and customer-specific reports.

    + Support plant improvement teams and events.

    Essential Skills

    + Associates Degree in an Engineering Discipline

    + 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, focusing on troubleshooting processes.

    + Experience in tooling/fixture design and design for manufacturing.

    + Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

     

    Additional Skills

     

    + Experience in Wire & Cable Manufacturing.

    + Experience leading or managing a manufacturing engineering team.

    + Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline.

    Work Environment

    The position is based at the Franklin, IN site and requires 100% onsite presence. The facility is climate-controlled and operates in an industrial manufacturing environment. The role follows a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with minimal overtime, typically 40-45 hours per week from 8 AM to 4 PM.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $45.67/hr.
