    Job Title: Fulfillment Technician II

    Job Description

    The Fulfillment Technician position is crucial in assisting pharmacists with the fulfillment of prescription orders. The role involves supporting pharmacists by picking, labeling, packing, and shipping orders. The technician collaborates with team leads and department managers to ensure timely delivery of medications to patients.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist pharmacists in fulfilling orders by performing tasks such as picking, labeling, packing, and shipping.

    + Collaborate with the Pharmacy Solutions Inventory Planner to manage medication and commodity inventories.

    + Assist in restocking commodities used during picking, packing, and shipping activities.

    + Meet performance standards by aligning with predefined metrics and KPIs.

    + Identify and recommend process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

    + Serve as a resource for pharmacy technicians and the fulfillment team lead by understanding all aspects of the fulfillment technician role.

    + Interact professionally with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate service provision to patients.

    + Maintain current licensure and continuing education requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Pharmacy technician license and active pharmacy technician certification.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Effective time management.

    + Proficiency in data entry.

    + Inventory control skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Ability to multitask and operate under general supervision.

    + Ability to complete individual tasks and adhere to deadlines.

    + Flexible work schedule with availability to work between 7am and 7pm.

    + Comfortable with standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.

    Work Environment

    The role operates within business hours of 7am to 7pm, with a rotating shift once fully trained. Initial training hours are from 8am to 4:30pm. The work environment requires standing for prolonged periods and involves moderate lifting activities.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.27 - $27.27/hr.
