Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor who is wanting to be licensed within 6 months to lead and execute a variety of survey projects. This individual will work closely with crew chiefs and field teams to deliver accurate survey data and documentation. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and a solid understanding of civil engineering principles. The Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing field operations, managing deliverables, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage survey projects from inception to completion.
+ Collaborate with crew chiefs and field teams to deliver accurate survey data.
+ Oversee field operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
+ Manage project deliverables and timelines effectively.
+ Train and mentor field crew members.
+ Communicate effectively with internal engineering teams and external clients.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of professional surveying experience.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Business Center.
+ Strong understanding of surveying systems, standards, and legal survey types.
+ Effective communication and leadership skills.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to train and mentor team members.
+ Experience in project management and land surveying.
+ Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with eligibility for multi-state licensure.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and field-oriented, with a mix of office-based CAD work and on-site field operations. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.89/hr.
