    Job Title: Field Service EngineerJob Description

     

    As a Field Service Engineer, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, troubleshooting, fixing, and debugging machines at customer sites across the country.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct thorough machine inspections using advanced Maintenance Management tools and report on their status.

    + Read logic and adjust machines mechanically and electrically to fit the logic.

    + Advise the service coordinator on potential upgrades and retrofits to keep machines at the cutting edge.

    + Contribute to the improvement of Maintenance Management Tools for greater effectiveness.

    + Maintain equipment and provide hands-on training to customers, empowering them to confidently maintain their machines.

    + Deliver comprehensive training to customers using detailed documentation.

    + Help build and test new equipment at the factory to stay ahead of industry advancements.

    + Install equipment and upgrades in the field, ensuring familiarity with the latest developments.

    + Visit customers in person when remote service is not sufficient.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude, including proficiency with tools such as wrenches and wire, and the ability to diagnose and fix industrial machines.

    + PLC troubleshooting, debugging, and commissioning experience, with the capability to read electrical drawings and logic.

    + Experience working with up to 480V equipment.

    + Willingness to travel up to 70% for installations, preventive maintenance, and field service.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2+ years of experience working on heavy machinery.

    + Experience interacting with Rockwell PLCs.

    + Experience reading electrical drawings.

    + Experience working with 480 volt equipment.

    Work Environment

    You will work onsite at a manufacturing facility in Aurora when not traveling. During travel, you will work in heavy industrial environments.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, Ohio.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
