    Service Technician- Elgin,IL

    Responsibilities

    + Provide phone support for incoming technical calls related to our Powerboss, Scrubmaster, and robot product lines.

    + Troubleshoot equipment problems with field technicians.

    + Administer warranty claims, including evaluation and modification.

    + Communicate warranty questions on field units, including coverage and eligibility.

    + Evaluate warranty parts when called in for inspection.

    + Record and communicate negative trends, zero hour, or serial issues.

    + Report quality issues to the Production Manager.

    + Record data in SAP for zero hour and serial issues.

    + Participate in bi-monthly meetings with production and sales teams.

    + Collaborate with Quality Engineers on known and potential mechanical concerns.

    + Demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn and grow with our company.

     

    Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with warranty administration and claim evaluation.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with field technicians and internal teams.

    + Familiarity with SAP or similar data recording systems.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
