    Build the Future from Field to Finish

    Are you a seasoned civil engineer looking to take ownership of full-site development projects from concept through construction? Join a design-build firm south of Fort Wayne, Indiana that prides itself on delivering complete “field to finish” solutions—surveying, designing, and building every project in-house.

     

    This is a client-facing, leadership-oriented role where you’ll collaborate with a tight-knit team of professionals and work directly with licensed engineers and CAD designers to bring impactful site development projects to life.

    What You’ll Do

    + Independently engineer and design site development projects, including grading, stormwater, sanitary, electrical, and gas services.

    + Prepare and oversee permit applications, erosion/sedimentation control plans, stormwater management plans, and access road designs.

    + Lead the creation of construction documents, hydraulic modeling, specifications, budgets, and schedules.

    + Coordinate with jurisdictions and clients to ensure compliance and satisfaction.

    + Conduct field visits to assess project sites and ensure safety and quality standards.

    + Manage project turnover, reporting, and documentation.

    + Represent the company positively in civic and professional activities.

     

    What You Bring

    Must-Haves:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

    + 5–10+ years of experience in site/civil design.

    + Active PE license in Indiana (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

    + Proficiency in Civil3D, HydroCAD, and WinSLAMM.

    + Strong technical writing and communication skills.

    + Ability to safely traverse construction sites and comply with safety codes.

    + Previous leadership experience.

    Nice-to-Haves:

    + LS (Land Surveyor) license or background in surveying.

    + Experience with client-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
