    Superintendent – Roadway Projects

    Maryville, IL | Full-Time | Permanent

    Are you a seasoned leader in asphalt paving and roadway construction? Join a team that values safety, quality, and teamwork. We’re hiring a Superintendent to oversee field operations for roadway projects across the St. Louis region.

    What You’ll Do

    + Lead and supervise daily activities of asphalt paving crews.

    + Coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency.

    + Ensure compliance with DOT specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

    + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and budgets.

    + Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.

    + Mentor crew members and foster a strong team culture.

    + Troubleshoot field issues and implement real-time solutions.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and daily progress reports.

    What You Bring

    + 5+ years of asphalt paving experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

    + Strong knowledge of DOT specs, asphalt mix designs, and paving equipment.

    + Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + OSHA 30 certification.

    + Hands-on experience with paving machines, rollers, and heavy equipment.

    + Quality control and grading experience.

    + Ability to operate a paver on asphalt projects.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
