    Job Title: Software Engineer

     

    We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor, you will design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions that meet modern industry standards. Our ideal candidate is proficient in multiple programming languages, embraces agile development methodologies, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for writing clean, scalable code, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing system performance.     Responsibilities

    + Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment.

    + Maintain and upgrade the software following deployment.

    + Oversee the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.

    + Guide the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software.

    + Oversee automated testing and provide feedback during the development process.

    + Modify and test changes to previously developed programs.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

    + Active Secret Clearance

    + At least 5 years of experience with Java, C#, or Python.

    + Minimum 1 year of experience with JavaScript or Typescript.

    + Experience with high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.

    + Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    + Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

    + Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.

    + Experience in developing unit, integration, and system tests.

    + Experience in developing microservices and RESTful APIs.

    + Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development environments.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with modern cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.

    + Understanding of standalone Kubernetes deployments.

    + Experience with modern front-end development using React or Angular.

    + Experience with Source Control tools (e.g., Git, Gitlab).

    + Experience with DevSecOps and Agile Scrum methodologies using tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.

    Work Environment

    This position offers the flexibility to work in office locations such as Littleton, CO; Colorado Springs, CO; or King of Prussia, PA. The role requires being present in a modern software development office 3+ days a week, with potential growth to 5 days a week. The work environment is collaborative, supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, and involves working on modern tech stacks and migrating legacy code. Dress code is business casual.

    This is a Contract to Hire position.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $80.00/hr.
