    Field Service Technician Role- Chicago, IL

    Overview:

    Our client, a leading manufacturer of electromechanical products (holding 80–85% of the U.S. market), is seeking a Field Service Technician to support both in-house and field operations. HUGE OT potential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + In-House Service (75%)

    + Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs at the component and board level.

    + Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify and resolve issues.

    + Report directly to the Field Service Supervisor.

    + Field Service (25%)

    + Travel nationally to perform repairs and installations.

    + Commission new units and ensure proper functionality in real-world environments.

    Qualifications:

    + 1–3 years of experience in electromechanical or field service roles, or a technical college degree.

    + Soldering experience and board-level circuit analysis and repair.

    + Ability to read and interpret electrical and PCB blueprints.

    + Strong communication skills; must be comfortable in client-facing situations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $25.00/hr.
