Job Title: Industrial Furnace Operator
Job Description
Join a dynamic team providing metal heat treating, abrasive blasting, and industrial spray painting services across the United States and Canada. We specialize in handling medium to large industrial-sized parts, ranging from 1,000 to over 100,000 pounds.
Responsibilities
+ Load and unload furnaces with equipment, using forklifts and other machinery to assist in handling large equipment and chambers for the heat treating process.
+ Select and regulate furnace temperatures for specific treating jobs.
+ Monitor combustion and furnace equipment, programming and adjusting recipes as needed.
+ Troubleshoot furnace chambers and related equipment.
+ Solve basic math problems, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Use computer equipment to monitor machinery, enter data, and complete reports.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Must have industrial experience
+ 1-2 years of industrial employment.
+ Experience operating machinery (stationary), including loading/unloading machines and entering operating parameters.
+ Sit down forklift experience.
+ Ability to use a computer to monitor equipment, enter data, complete reports, and manage emails.
+ Ability to consistently work 40+ hours a week.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in machine operation and production environments.
+ Strong math skills.
+ Proficiency in computer operation.

Work Environment
The position is for a Furnace Operator on the 2nd shift, with training primarily on the 3rd shift, expected to last up to 3 months. Shift times are as follows: First shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Second shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, and Third shift from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Overtime may be required, including weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
