Job Title: Simulator Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Simulator Technician to perform routine technical tasks on-site in a field or laboratory setting. This role involves receiving training in various phases of technical work, whether in a laboratory, office, plant, or field environment.
Responsibilities
+ Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems.
+ Assist in diagnosing and correcting issues with simulators and associated systems.
+ Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track activities.
+ Complete all designated training activities.
+ Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators.
+ Perform basic visual alignments and run automatic Qualification Test Guides (QTG).
+ Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
+ Learn and comply with quality management systems.
+ Provide customer service support and address customer needs promptly.
+ Maintain simulators through housekeeping functions as required.
+ Perform logistics duties, including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
+ Conduct administrative tasks and support the technical services group as required.
Essential Skills
+ 2-year technical degree or 4 years in an electronic, avionic, or technical-related field.
+ Minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
+ Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.
+ Ability to interpret system prints and schematics.
+ Proficiency in operating test equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators, and logic analyzers.
+ Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs.
+ Computer literacy in PC and/or computer mainframe/architecture.
+ Some knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite.
+ Fluency in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in maintenance repair, troubleshooting, electrical and hydraulic systems, diagnosis, and software installation.
+ Knowledge in electronics and avionic systems.
+ Strong computer skills.
+ Understanding of both analog and digital theory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
