    Description

    Are you a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional with a passion for accuracy and organization? If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and have experience in the construction industry, this could be a great opportunity for you.

     

    This role involves managing vendor invoicing, job costing, and payment processing with precision and efficiency. Candidates who bring construction-related experience will be especially well-suited for success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accurately enter vendor invoices and allocate costs to appropriate jobs and commitments

    + Monitor and report budget overages or commitment variances

    + Prepare monthly aging reports for management review

    + Organize and process monthly check runs with proper authorization

    + Reconcile vendor statements to ensure expenses are recorded in the correct accounting period

    Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Construction industry experience is strongly preferred

    + Solid understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles

    + Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks for Contractors

    + High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills

    Education & Experience:

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

    + At least 2 years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a project-based or construction setting
