    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced commercial painter with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in caulking and prepping surfaces prior to painting. Experience in spray painting is a plus. Candidates must have their own tools and reliable transportation.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform commercial painting and ensure high-quality finishes.

    + Prep surfaces, including caulking and other preparatory tasks, before painting.

    + Utilize airless sprayers and other painting tools effectively.

    + Work efficiently in teams to complete painting projects on schedule.

    + Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2-3 years of commercial painting experience.

    + Proficiency in paint preparation, caulking, and rolling techniques.

    + Experience with airless sprayers and spray guns.

    + Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Spray painting experience.

    + The ability to lead a team is a plus.

    + Own tools and reliable transportation are required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work involves painting commercial and large multi-unit complexes alongside teams of 5-10 painters. Typical working hours are from 6AM to 2:30PM or 7AM to 3:30PM. The dress code includes painters' whites and full personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, high visibility vests, work boots, and safety glasses.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeview, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
