Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Test Technician to join our team on a long-term contract-to-hire basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for debugging electronics and printed circuit boards (PCBs), testing, and troubleshooting to identify defects in the boards. This position requires expertise in identifying issues down to the component level and experience with RF equipment such as network analyzers or signal analyzers to work with high-end frequencies.
Responsibilities
+ Debug electronic boards to the component level.
+ Test and troubleshoot printed circuit boards to identify defects.
+ Utilize equipment such as network analyzers and signal analyzers for RF testing.
+ Read and interpret schematics to understand circuitry.
+ Identify electrical components and comprehend their functions.
+ Write test documents and procedures.
Essential Skills
+ At least 5 years of printed circuit board debug experience to the component level.
+ Understanding and ability to debug RF circuitry.
+ Proficiency in reading schematics and identifying electrical components.
+ Experience using Digital Multi Meters, frequency counters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, and Vector Signal Generators.
+ In-circuit/Flying Probe test and debug experience (e.g., HP3070, Genrad, Spea).
+ Functional/bench test experience.
+ Proficiency in hand soldering of through-hole and SMT components, including sizes down to 0402.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least a 2-year Associate's Degree, military, or equivalent electronics education.
+ Computer knowledge with Windows, programming software, J-TAG, Xilinx, etc.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment
Our electronic manufacturing environment is very clean and orderly, providing individuals with their own work benches and personal workspace. The shift is from Thursday to Saturday, 6am to 6pm, with a half-day on Wednesday to complete a full 40-hour work week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Meridian, Idaho.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $79040.00/yr.
Health, vision, dental, 401k with match, Paid time off, vacation time, pay increases.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Meridian,ID.
