Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our team in Golden Valley, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations of our medical office by managing patient interactions and scheduling needs. This is a Contract position offering an opportunity to contribute to the healthcare industry in a meticulous and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them through the check-in process.

• Coordinate patient scheduling by booking, confirming, and adjusting appointments as needed.

• Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving patient concerns.

• Maintain and update patient records accurately within the Epic EMR system.

• Assist patients with questions about upcoming appointments or medical procedures.

• Communicate effectively with existing patients to confirm and coordinate follow-up visits.

• Ensure the reception area remains organized and welcoming for patients and visitors.

• Collaborate with medical staff to streamline scheduling and administrative processes.

• Process and verify patient information to ensure compliance with medical office standards. Requirements • Proven experience in medical front desk or receptionist roles.

• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems and basic medical terminology.

• Strong skills in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist patients effectively.

• Attention to detail when managing patient information and records.

• Familiarity with healthcare office procedures and patient services.
