Description

We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team in Bay Shore, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate invoicing and billing operations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices and billing statements for multiple projects and companies.

• Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure accurate billing and timely payment collection.

• Manage accounts receivable functions, including handling change orders and resolving billing discrepancies.

• Utilize computerized billing systems to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.

• Generate and distribute billing reports to keep stakeholders informed of financial activities.

• Verify and update billing information to ensure compliance with company standards.

• Monitor payment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain cash flow.

• Assist in the implementation of system improvements to enhance billing efficiency.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and communication related to billing.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.

Requirements • Proven experience in billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in computerized billing systems and related software.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers and other team members.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and transactions.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with billing in the construction industry is preferred.

• Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling financial data.
