Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our manufacturing team in Irving, Texas. This role requires hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, strong skills in invoice processing and coding, and the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively. The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices with accuracy and ensure timely completion.

• Assign correct general ledger codes to invoices and review for consistency.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in invoice coding.

• Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and maintain positive relationships.

• Assist in setting up vendor accounts and maintaining accurate records.

• Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions and support month-end closing processes.

• Contribute to the implementation and utilization of the Infor system.

• Perform daily accounting tasks using QuickBooks.

• Create reports, input data, and reconcile information using Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate level).

• Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with Infor is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail, especially in identifying and correcting errors.

• Excellent communication skills for managing vendor relationships.

• Self-driven and eager to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
